Offered here is a very nice COLLECTIBLE CAST IRON COOKWARE SKILLET: A GRISWOLD #8 SKILLET WITH LARGE SLANT LOGO, ERIE NAME, AND HEAT RING, PATTERN NUMBER: 704H. This nice Griswold skillet was manufactured between the 1906-1912. It measures 10 1/2 inches in diameter (measured not at the drip spouts). The skillet is in very clean condition with no rust, chips, cracks, or pitting. The skillet sits flat on an oak desktop and when I press down there is NO wabble! The logo and markings on the back are all clear and crisp. The cooking surface is smooth with no rust or pitting. The number is not marked on the top handle and this is normal with this model-year skillet. Overall, a CHOICE example of a #8 skillet with the ERIE name on the bottom. This is a very scarce slant logo skillet and getting scarcer as the demand for this short production run of skillets grows. Invest in this quality piece now.
